Requirements Whiteboard is a system for structured requirements management, authoring, review, documentation, discussion and publication.
How can I evaluate Requirements Whiteboard?
Order a copy of the Reviewer edition of Requirements Whiteboard and use it, noting from the help file the differences between the editions. When you buy a copy of the Author edition you can continue to use the documents you were using. There is no time limit on using the Reviewer edition.
What else do I need in order to use it?
You will need to have the Microsoft .Net framework installed before you you can use Requirements Whiteboard. If you do not already have this installed, the installation wizard will download it from the Microsoft web site and install it for you.
What formats can I export in?
You can export requirements documents in the following formats:
RTF (for use with a wordprocessor)
Excel spreadsheet
PDF (for efficient email and use on other Operating Systems)
TIFF (for faxing)
HTML (for use in a web browser)
Text (for use with any editor)
How many computers can I install Requirements Whiteboard on?
Your license for Requirements Whiteboard Author edition only allows you to install the system on one computer. If a colleague also needs to author documents, they will need their own license. You can however make backups of the distribution media for safety. A reviewer can obtain the free Reviewer edition from this web site.
I need a colleague to review my requirements, what does she need?
Ask her to order a copy of the Requirements Whiteboard Reviewer edition from this web site. It is available free-of-charge to reviewers working on a document created by your Author edition.
